Back home... to my OWN bed
Ok so my last post was from Mexico and my trip ended very nicely. The wedding was beautiful and my last few days consisted of laying on beach chairs and playing in the ocean, quite relaxing. Oh and I have some pics of Mexico finally!

Anyway, if you would like to see more then I would be happy to show you the entire collection, but it's on my laptop and I'll be printing them soon so I can make my photo album so you may want to hang tight til that's done...
Ok well since I did get home from Mexico on March 17 you may be wondering why it took me soooooo long to get this post up... Well the reason is I was two days after I got back I got really sick. It wasn't anything to do with Mexico, just a coincidence... I had a kidney infection. I was sick on Monday night (March 19th) and then got worse until Thursday when I finally went to the doctor. He sent me to emerg. for and IV and some blood tests because I was very dehydrated. So after tests three IV bags and two different IV antibiotics I was sent home with a perscription, and was told if I don't feel better in the next couple days I need to come back cuz something else is wrong. Well something else WAS wrong because Friday late night I was having trouble breathing so I barely slept and at 8am the next day I was back in emerg. This time they kept me there. I had pneumonia now and they thought possibly a blood clot on my lung. So after a few really rough days and nights I was on the mend and was just waiting to hear about my CT scan which would tell me about the blood clot. This whole while I was getting blood thinner shots just in case. Well by day 5 in the hospital I was starting to help the other patients in my room, two nice little old men. One was 79, had cancer and was waiting for a place in a care home and the other was old too, Italian, and had an infection in his leg I think. Anyway they were nice and were sad to see me go on day 7. I spent a week in that hospital! It was quite an experience, but I hope I never have to repeat it. It turned out I didn't have a blood clot so I was free to go with just a prescription for my pneumonia.
I'm feeling almost back to normal now, I just get tired pretty easily. So a few weeks of early nights and long sleeps and I'll be good as new. Hopefully that means I can do a lot more blogging!
