Family time...

I'm sorry to all of my friends who have been trying to get a hold of me this past week and weekend. I have been spending a lot of time at home and with my family.


My Uncle Eddie died on Wednesday. He was in Ontario with his wife and daughter visiting family. It has been a bit of trouble trying to arrange everything for him to be brought back and my aunt and cousin need to get new direct flights to Kamloops... They are just getting home today. There is a memorial for him next Saturday so I'll probably be busy helping out until at least after then.

Your prayers for my family, especially my grandparents and my aunt and cousin are deeply appreciated.

Morning Rant

OK so I don't often complain on my blog... It is mostly to let everyone know what I'm up to and so on, however, today I am VERY fed up with my job. This morning I had to work at 6:45 which sucks but whatever, at 8 someone is supposed to get here to help me out and let me have a drink or a pee break or SOMETHING but no one came. So I called the scheduled boy and his mom said he isn't coming because he talked to my boss and she said it was fine for him to not come in today! So I get to stare at a pool in the sweltering heat for 3 hours, soo hungry and having to pee... I wasn't happy to be frank. Katie came and saved me and we are both a little ticked with our bosses lately. If they want people to work here and not quit all the time they need to make this a good place to work! I totally understand why people leave once they get the city job, because you get treated like crap here ! Even when you work your butt off for them and take every shift they need you to and work months of 6 day weeks... Well I thought this would make me feel better but... not really so I'm gunna take a little walk.

Summer Update

OK well Shumway is all over and I made $800 out there! Also I might get to do some relief work out there for the instructors. So if someone is sick or can't make it one day then they will call me and I'll get to work out there for the day.

I just got back from camping yesterday for Katie's birthday and that was super fun! We even brought Link camping! I have pictures at home so I'll add them tomorrow before work.

I have a few trips planned for this summer which should bring about some fun stories so hopefully I won't go through a "blogging drought" again...

Anyway, I best be getting some sleep!
