Christmas Time

Well Christmas has come and gone and we all lived through another years of gift making. I gave and received a lot of cool gifts this year. Devon and I gave framed pictures we took of things we thought interested our family. I'll try and show you those a different day. I got - from Fran & Henry an apron and scissors (not made by them) and a calendar board, - from Phill & Beka a purse made from jeans, -from Justin & Liz a movie night in a box complete with popcorn, shakers and sweet container things to hold the popcorn, and from Kristin & Ian a clock with Japanese numbers. All of them are very cool and thank you everyone who worked so hard to make these awesome gifts. I can't remember everything Devon got so I'll have to ask him and then we will take some pics to show everyone.

19... The Official Age of Majority

So I have now entered a new stage in my life. I am no longer a minor. I have almost every privilege available to adults, save renting a car. Now I am not saying that I am an adult in the eyes of the world by any means especially by my parents. I am alright with that for now because I don't want to deal with many of the pressures that I see others with. However, I still can't shake the "I wish I was just a few years older" feeling. I know soon enough I'll be hoping for the opposite but I feel like I'm right on the doorstep of a great new thing but the bouncer won't let me in. This is figurative because the bouncer will let me in now in real life because I'm 19... But that's beside the point. Anyways I am still clueless as to what my life direction is and I am just going to dabble in a little of everything until I can find something that I can do with my life.
That's all for now...

Done!

I am done another semester of university. Although, looking back it seems to me that I haven't made a whole lot of progress towards a degree... I may have a new direction with my schooling though! I am thinking of persuing a degree in international relations. This is a program at SFU which fits with Devon's plans of moving to the lower mainland for school also. Part of the degree is spending at least one semester abroad. Since I plan to do that next September, I think I have a good chance at getting a full transfer credit. This is just an idea and I need to look into it further, but it's a possibility... I'm looking forward to my almost 4 weeks off school! More blogging will be done with so much free time.
