Fun Trip

Hello all,
Recently Devon and I went to Vancouver to visit some friends and just have fun and we took a few picture and have a few cool stories so I thought I would share them.
So we left on Tuesday morning at 8:00 am (early!) and my Mom gave up some directions to the house we were staying at. (We stayed at her friend's house not my Aunt's contrary to popular belief). Anyways directions from my Mom was our first mistake. I distinctly remember her say "Ya it's off of 152 St and it's WAY down there so just drive until you see it..." Yes well we drove WAY down there and ended up in Whiterock! It wasn't so bad though because we ate lunch at a nice little Greek restaurant and then chased crabs on the beach a little bit. However after phoning my Dad we learned that the street that we were looking for wasn't off of 152 St at all but 104 Ave. which is the street we had to turn off of to get to 152 St.
So that night we found the house and visited my new friend Amy; we went to her house for a bit then we went to The Old Spaghetti Factory in New Westminster. After an AMAZING dinner we went back to Danette's House (my Mom's friend) and watched Underworld. We also played sweet card games with Samantha, Richard, Nick and Natasha.
The next day Devon and I went to Guilford Mall and shopped a bit and then after lunch we went to a VW Dealership and looked at the new 2007 Rabbit. That night we navigated ourself to Stanley Park and went to the Aquarium.

We also walked around a bit and saw some raccoons. We tried to meet up with my dear cousin Vanna but our cell phones we not working so we didn't end up finalizing our plans.
Thursday we went to Metrotown and shopped more and I got my nose pierced! After that we went to Playland. Devon and I went on Drop Zone which is such a cool ride! Devon was SOOOO mad that I made him go on it. Hehehe. That night we went to Spaghetti Factory again and then watched Anger Management.
Friday we went to Granville Island in the morning and then we back to Surrey to pack up our stuff and say good-bye to Danette. We bought her a lavender plant as a thank-you. After we went to Ikea and I bought some nice stuff for my bed. It looks pretty and I will take pictures of it nice and made up later. After Ikea we headed to Langley and ate at The Olive Garden for dinner then headed home.
It was a fun trip and I hope we can do it again soon.

Lifeguarding Update

Well as I mentioned a while ago I'm currently completing my Lifeguarding courses and I only have two more to go! So far I've passed them all with little to no difficulty but my next one (so I'm told) will be the hardest one. It's called WSI (Water Safety Instructor). So I'm pretty much teaching swimming lessons for two weeks and then if I do a good job then I pass I think... If anyone wants some free swimming lessons for their kids sign up at Brock Pool, but hurry because the course starts Monday.
