Sweet News!!!!!

Ok I have two things today,

#1. I am all done my exams!!!!!!!! This means first year of university is officially over for me!!! WOOHOOOOOO! I am super glad to be finished and able to just relax and not think about up coming tests and assignments. Four months of FREEDOM!!!!

#2. Phil and Beka finally have both kids now! Noah became a de Vries just yesterday! So now Kristien and Noah de Vries will be coming home not this weekend but the next! I am sooo happy for Phil and Beka and the girls. They have all been working so hard for this day and now it's here. Their family is finally complete and whole. (P & B) You guys deserve this!!!!!!! See you soon!

Life?

So lately I've been feeling a little burnt out and tired of my daily life. It seems that all I do right now is work and study... I feel so drained physically, mentally and emotionally. I am not sure what is going on with me right now. Today I was actually wishing for something to happen to me so I wouldn't have to work. Devon says that this is what life is and it's not meant to be easy. I hope that I will be feeling better on Tuesday cuz I have the day off from work and I'll be all done my exams. Remember me in your prayers because I know God can help me through this. Thanks everyone.

And now... Kristin and Ian!

This is Devon's sister Kristin and her now husband Ian. They got married on New Year Eve of 2005/2006. Not at midnight though, so it was still 2005. Kristin is almost a CDA (just a month or so in Edmonton for practical stuff) and Ian works for Continuous Gutters. They are in the process of buying a house and have a little dog named Dewie. They are pretty sweet and we love them.
So that does it for our families, so far... If there are any new additions, like babies perhaps (Kristin or Liz!) then I will let you know.

Justin is Devon's other brother, younger than Phill and older than Devon. He is a teacher and so is his wife Elizabeth. They have a son named Hunter and he's almost 1! They lived in Kelowna up until last summer when they moved here! Pretty sweet it think. Devon and I visited them in Kelowna last summer a few months before they moved here and we had a lot of fun. We played the first game of extreme croquet I do believe and I got to know them both a lot better and now even more so since they moved here. You guys are great and I love you lots!

Phill and Beka + 5

SO this is Devon's oldest brother Phill and his wife Beka. They have 3 blonde girls, Amber (oldest), Meagan (middle), and Jessica (youngest) as well as 1 little girl Kristien and 1 little boy Noah from Sierra Leone, Africa.


Phill, Bek, Kristien and Noah are all still in Africa right now. They plan to come back with both new children May 4th. Everyone is excited for them to return and to meet the kids. Amber, Meagan and Jessie are here in Kamloops right now staying with both sets of grandparents (switching one week at a time). They are at KCS right now. Normally they all live in Vanderholf, but due to the present circumstances they are here. Anyways, I am really excited for Phill and Beka to get home with Kristien and Noah except for then the 3 girls will have to go home... So Phill and Beka you're in my prayers and I hope you will all keep them in your prayers too!

Here they are! The wonderful people who brought Devon into this world! Henry and Fran de Vries.


I probably spend more time at their house than my own... Fran is such a good cook! I love eating here. Henry and Fran, thank you for putting up with me being here all the time. I love you guys soo much. I am glad that one day I will truly be a part of your family (even thought it feels like I already am).
Next I think will be Phill, Beka, Amber, Meagan, Jessica, Kristien and Noah. Whew! That's gunna be a big one!

Hello all,
This is my wonderful little bro, Jordan.

He is just the greatest. Yesterday, he helped me re-organize my room and wash and vacuum my car! Sweet hey? I can always count on him to help me. I love him dearly and wouldn't trade him for anyone. He is in grade 6 so he definitely has his moments of Stupid-Little-Boy syndrome but he is WAY better than a lot of kids his age. The other day, he ran the Campus Classic 5k run and came 3rd in the under 20 category! He did it in 26 min I think... Wow! What a crazy kid! Last night he told me by grade 8 he hopes to run a half marathon! So amazing... I am so proud of him and his determination. I am glad I get to be a part of his life.
Now that My fam-jam is accounted for... Devon's is next. I think we will start with his parents, just as I did.

Alright, here she is! Katee! My little sister.

Even though I may not seem like it sometimes, I really do love her and spending time with her. She goes to youth (the one Devon and I do at SF) and it's fun to be able to hang out with her Sunday nights. Last year we played on the school soccer team together, and that was soo fun! She's in grade 8 now so... just about the coolest stage of her life... lol. She is pretty fun though and I'm glad I have her. So that's her... Next is my little brother...

Almost Done!

I know I said I was going to introduce my sister next but I'm at school and don't have pictures... So I thought I would just say how excited that I am sooo close to being done!!!! Tomorrow I havea lab at 2:30 (sleep in day!!!) and Friday I have 3 classes in the morning (off early day!), Monday I have my last long day(!!!!), Tuesday I have ONE class at 8:30 (suck and early but then my day is done) and WEDNESDAY April 12 not Thursday April 13 is my last day of classes!!!!!
Also Devon has another interview today at Costco... He is keeping the Blockbuster job, simply because of the free rentals, and will maybe work part time at Costco too! Who knows, maybe there will be sweet perks at that job too!
Anyways... Better get to class... I will post my sis when I get home later today...
